This section of the site features videos from the first year of rebuilding the car. Most videos feature my friend Dave as the "Host." He does a great job at it. All videos require Windows Media Player version 6.4 or higher. Mediaplayer is available at Microsoft.com. The videos were encoded to work with as little as a 56k connection to the internet and may not work well streaming from the net on a slower connection. However they can be downloaded to the drive and played that way by just right clicking on the picture and selecting save as.

June 1, 1997. Shows quite a bit of the car before the interior floors were even started. It shows the interior shortly after we'd gutted out the inside. Dave helps me narrate and as usual is very entertaining.		This shows the initial blasting of the firewall. Also show initial blasting of the backseat area.
June 15, 1997 (Fathers Day). This covers a little more of the blasting of the firewall which Dave did.		I believe this is June 16, 1997 but I'm not sure. Dave's sick in this one but still agrees to sandblast. I give him instruction the morning this was taped on what to do. He did actually get a lot done even though he looks very ill.
June 20, 1997. This was the week before Dave was to go into the hospital. It shows the entire frame has been blasted by this point.		June 21, 1997. No Dave in this one. Just a couple shots of the firewall still being worked on. I tried to narrate best I could but video without Dave just isn't the same.
June 22, 1997. "The Nova Week Number 5" to quote Dave. It shows the patching of the inside of the firewall. Also shows the dashpad has been peeled up and the floor panels were being readied to be welded in.		June 28, 1997. This is my favorite Video. Dave's a riot in this one. He introduces this as "Week number 5...the week of pain." This one shows that we're near the end of the patching on the firewall and that one floor has been done.
A short video of Dave actually sandblasting. Hardly any dialog in this one. It does give you an idea of how loud the sandblaster and compressor are.		Sunday June 29, 1997. This shows the finalization of the welding on the firewall and priming. This also shows the building of the A frame lift the body to blast under it.
July 6, 1997 10am. An early morning taping. Shows the stripping of the dashboard and finishing up of the blasting of the frame and rebuilding of the frame mounts. Also shows the finalization of one of the floor panels.		Dave narrates this one as usual. Also my friend Donald appears a little bit in this one. This is the last taping of 1997.
